Background

Josh Lighthipe is an Associate who joined the Portland Civil + Survey office in 1997. Josh is an integral part of KPFF's leadership in sustainable stormwater design, with a unique ability to combine aesthetics, environmental considerations and project vision into his work. From his involvement in Portland’s first integrated green street neighborhood, New Columbia, to his civil project management of Bud Clark Commons, the world’s first LEED-NC Platinum public housing project, Josh has been at the leading edge of low impact design since the early days of his career. Many of Josh’s projects incorporate rain-activated art and other methods that weave stormwater into the landscape.
