Salt Lake City Fire Department Training & Logistics Center

KPFF provided structural engineering services for the renovation of the existing Salt Lake City Fire Station #14 into a new Fire Logistics and Training Center. The existing 1970’s structure consisted of precast concrete double tee roof and walls. The new design included a voluntary seismic improvement along with a classroom, logistics offices, and an apparatus bay. This adaptive reuse project provides the Salt Lake City Fire Department resources for training new recruits.
