Pierce Transit – Stream Bus Rapid Transit Expansion Study

A KPFF Consulting Engineers team is leading Pierce Transit’s Stream System Bus Rapid Transit Expansion Study, helping the agency determine BRT future expansion plans and investment priorities. The study is evaluating four corridors for BRT service expansion and providing a recommendation on expansion priority for several of South Puget Sound’s highest ridership transit lines. The project team’s evaluation includes extensive transit speed and reliability analysis, social equity, fundability and implementation considerations when setting Pierce Transit’s long term BRT vision. We look forward to riding the next Pierce Transit Stream Line in the near future.
