KPFF provided structural engineering design for 11 buildings on a 36-acre mixed-use development over 8 years. Buildings comprised a mixture of office, retail, and parking, with over 1.9 million square feet of occupied space and 3,500 below-grade parking stalls. Across the range of buildings, a variety of structural systems was utilized that included steel framing, core walls, braced frames, moment frames, and post-tensioned concrete. Although architectural and contractor teams varied from project to project, KPFF was the developer’s choice for structural engineer for all of the development’s commercial buildings.
