KPFF provided civil and structural engineering for this 41-story condominium tower featuring five stacked boxes which rotate at varying angles to create one of the most iconic designs in Seattle. The varying angles provide unique views and spacing with nearby towers. Setbacks between the boxes highlight the rotation and create sky terraces at several public and private levels. To enhance the views and seismic performance, earthquake and wind forces are resisted entirely by concrete core walls. The walls are designed using a rigorous performance based seismic design.
