With a collaborative attitude and approachable manner, Aaron has a knack for working comfortably with a broad spectrum of clients and project team members. He understands that leveraging the skills and knowledge of all team members produces better projects. Since joining KPFF in 1998, Aaron has devised creative structural engineering solutions to help bring designs for higher education, K-12, multi-family housing, and student residence halls to reality. This attitude extends to the office as well – Aaron helps harness and share ideas among staff to benefit their projects. He leads KPFF Portland’s Timber Design Committee, which develops timber-related details, specifications, notes, and drawing standards. Aaron also mentors junior engineers and participates in the office’s committee that provides a formal mentorship program.
