Special Projects – Long Beach, CA

KPFF has recognized that there are specialized issues associated with development of some projects, which require unique management and technical skills. The KPFF Special Projects Division was established in 1996 to directly address these types of projects with a unique combination of focused dedication to successful delivery via specialized project managers, a highly qualified technical staff, and a predisposition to think and act innovatively. We provide civil, structural, and mechanical engineering, machinery design, construction management, project management, and planning services on a wide range of project types.

Our Long Beach Special Projects office was established in 2005, and is located near the heart of downtown Long Beach, CA.

The Work We Do

Our work generally consists of the management and design of heavy civil, structural, industrial, and waterfront infrastructure throughout the US. We are frequently tasked with solving unusual, multi-discipline challenges that require an innovative and team-oriented approach.

The Long Beach office is heavily engaged with local clients such as the Ports of Long Beach, Los Angeles, and Hueneme, as well as, the West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs campus, the City of Long Beach, LA County Beaches and Harbors and various other municipalities.
