11th & Idaho

KPFF provided structural engineering for the 10-story, 11th and Idaho office tower located in downtown Boise. The project site was constrained on all sides, two sides by city streets and two sides by ACHD controlled alley ways. Extensive coordination was required in order to locate the footings around site utilities, ACHD right of way and CCDC required tree wells. The interior building core was utilized as the primary lateral system with perimeter moment frames providing additional building drift mitigation. KPFF also provided façade engineering for exterior enclosure.
