Animal Emergency + Referral Associates (AERA)

Completed in 2022, the 45,000SF tenant improvement transformed a defunct Sears department store into a well-appointed specialty and emergency veterinary hospital. The refreshed $22 million facility now houses 21 exam rooms, pharmacy, large waiting room, surgery center, kennels/cages for 84 patients, support spaces, and an imaging suite. Over 3,300SF is devoted to the LINAC/MRI/CT treatment area and shared control room. Beyond the 3’-6” concrete vault walls for the Varian Halcyon system, additional square footage has been set aside for future expansion or equipment upgrades.
