KPFF provided prime project management and civil design for a project to construct a 11-foot-wide, 78-foot-long culvert to replace an existing undersized failed culvert. The design included installation of a new fish-passable culvert, channel restoration, utility restoration, and roadway improvements. The roadway section and was designed to repair damage caused by past flood events and meet County road standards. The culvert was designed to meet WDFW design manuals and WSDOT standards and specifications. The KPFF team completed hydrologic analysis, permitting, and complete PS&E for this project. The project design and permitting were completed within five months from notice-to-proceed to meet the fish construction window.
