OC Great Park – Sport Park

KPFF provided structural engineering associated with the development of a 177 acre sports park. The park contains bike and pedestrian paths and various sports park amenities. The elements requiring structural consulting include paving design, foundations for light poles, site walls, retaining walls, monument walls, benches, bike racks, fountains, waste collection stations and stairs on grade. There are tennis court and basketball court post-tensioned concrete slabs, chain link fencing and gates with pole foundations, baseball and softball backstop fencing with foundations, concrete bleachers and multiple shade structures with foundations.
