Alan Scott PE, SE

Alan has more than 40 years of experience in the consulting engineering industry, and he has been responsible for the design of over a hundred major projects, many of which have involved critical facilities that require sophisticated structural engineering analysis and design, and considerable client/user coordination and communications. He is the St. Louis office’s Senior Advisor for historic renovation, adaptive reuse, and seismic engineering. Alan has been extensively involved with renovation projects and has a unique understanding of the adaptive reuse of existing buildings, historic buildings, construction techniques and materials. He has experience in project management, design, seismic assessment, retrofit and seismic damage repair of commercial and industrial buildings, as well as design of industrial and manufacturing buildings.
