Background

Erik brings strong technical skills to every project along with a fun, energetic attitude that helps bring project teams closer together. He enjoys the constant interaction from co-location and highly collaborative projects. Since joining KPFF in 2005, Erik has developed innovative cost and time saving efficiencies, such as linking BIM and structural analytical models, including linking Revit Structure to RISA, Ram Structural System, and ETABS. Trained in Revit since 2007, Erik shares his command of technology by working with architectural clients to use BIM modeling software more efficiently. During the Edith Green Wendell Wyatt Federal Building Modernization, Erik worked directly with the owner, architect, contractor, and other consultants on a day-to-day basis to provide structural solutions quickly and efficiently.
